Day 1: Guided tour in Nafplio
This place has seen days of glory as well a decline. The most important part of its history begins in the Byzantine times.From the hands of the Byzantine Empire is passed to the Franks (1212-1389).Then come the first Venetian period (1389-1540), the first Ottoman Period (1540-1686), the second Venetian period (1686-1715) and the second Ottoman period (1715-1822).
Furthermore, during the night of the 29thof 1822 the Greek rebels, led by Staikos Staikopoulos, conquered the battlements of Palamidi and sang a heartfelt mass in the small church of St. Andrew, inside the castle.
The 3rd National Assembly decreed that Nafplio become the seat of the Government.
On January 8th,1828, Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of the Liberated Greek State arrived in Nafplio. In January 1833, the first king of Greece, King Otto, son of Lois of Bavaria disembarked in Nafplio, chosen by the Great European Powers. In 1834 the capital was transferred to Athens.
Guided tour in Nafplio is a must do if you are history lover.
Main sightseeing-Guided tour to: The statue of Kolokotronis and Kapodistrias, the Gate of Land , the first high school of Greece and the statue of Otto, the church of Saint Spyridon, Constitution Square, the first Parliament of modern Greece, the Trianon ,the Venetian arsenal, the archaeological museum and the castle of Palamidi. You will admire the view of the Argolic gulf and Bourtzi. You walk up to the neighborhood of Psaromachala learning important information about the architecture, a romantic view of the town, you will touch the ancient walls of Acronafplia.
Day 2: Cycle, Taste, Walk

First you start with cycling tour!
Get know the main attractions of the city, ride beneath the walls of Acronafplia, admire the panoramic view of the Medieval castles Palamidi and Bourtzi.
Before you get tired, we will visit the famous local post-Byzantine monastery through olive groves and panoramic views of Nafplio and the argolic gulf.
Moreover you will quench your thirst from the same spring that the goddess Hera bathed according to mythology and you are going to feed the monastery’s goldfishes .
If you are lucky enough you might taste the traditional sweet or Greek coffee with loukoumi by the nuns. If not, we always have local snack for your refreshing break!
Now, it’s time for walking!
There is a hidden chapel that we will walk around 20 min in an uphill cobbled stone path that we will admire the best panoramic view of the area!
After this short nice walk back to bike! Now is time to replace our calories!

Time for tasting!
On the way back as it is only downhill and straight you will be able to enjoy other local delicacies, in mini markets, bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores hidden in neighborhoods of Nafplio, where you will find and talk only with locals.

Duration:4-5h
Visit Mycenae archeological site. Then walking tour in nature with rich vegetation stream water, hamocks for kids and traditional local food like wild boar as a stew or goat in oven handmade pies

Day 4: Cooking class and Private Dinner in our House
Are you looking for an unforgettable culinary experience to get a real feel of the Greek land and all of its riches?
The day includes a cooking lesson oriented in the local cuisine of the area includes a hands on cooking class , where we will prepare famous dishes of the area , emphasizing in the Greek diet.
To begin with, we will visit the local flea market οr private farm, where we will select our ingredients (depends on the menu & the season) and then we will go back to our cooking lab where we will start our cooking session.
During the cooking class we will taste a bottle of wine from selected wineries of the area.
In charge of the cooking lesson could be a Chef or a local housewife.
Recipes written in every language you wish.
Included all ingredients, cooking class, city tour until the food gets ready -Extra cost drinks

You are going to visit their vines as well with their pick up track to enjoy the Panoramic view.
Then all together will enjoy handmade food from the housewife and most of the crops from their garden!
